As I speak of the seasons of nature, I lift up for you the church season of Lent which arrived on Wednesday, February 18th with the observance of Ash Wednesday. We are now in a season of 40 days, not including Sundays, leading up to the celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 5th.
