Lisa Ahlness, an Assistant to Bishop Mark Narum of the Western North Dakota Synod has been leading an ongoing workshop entitled “Ventures in Growing Stewards” for congregations. In doing some additional reading and ‘ingathering’ of material for our own stewardship education, I came upon some material from Rev. Scott Jacob, who serves as Assistant to the Bishop for the Northeastern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA. He lives in Two Harbors, MN, a logging and mining community in the Iron Range of that state.
